Archer Installation #2- Digital Negatives

Hi! My name is Jayden Thompson and I am a third year MAP student pursuing a Bachelor of Fine Arts in printmaking and photo-based art.

I used photos I took in the last year and made them into negatives to expose in the cyantype process. 

Working with negatives for cyanotype requires a lot of tests to get the best image possible, so many variables which can make consistency hard to achieve.

I didn't have time to expiement with toning with different teas and wine tannin but I hope so in the next week!

I really love cyanotype and have so many ideas I can't wait to explore!

This whole process has been a great experience and has made me want to explore more.
